Tribeni is the joining place of three streams of the Ganges. It is observed as the holy place among the hindus.
This place is under "Bansberia Municipality" . Nearest rail stations are___Tribeni station (howrah to katwa) & Magra station (howrah to Burdwan). Tribeni consists many old temples like Hanseswari kali temple, Shib temples & famous tribeni kali temple (ত্রিবেনী কালীতলা ) . Here the Ganges is observed as a goddess namely "Ganga devi" (গঙ্গা মা).
Many hindu myths are attributed to this place.which are still unknown to me.
B.T.P.S (Bandel thermal power station) is established at the center of this town. Many important schools are the asset of this town.
This is only a short coception or idea about this place, to be the witness of this holy town you have to come here.
